David, I can see you are a very experienced photographer. You have some really beautiful photos on here. In the meantime I will just keep on practising and trying to improve.

Actually, Barbara, you have a good eye and that's all that is necessary. I don't know if you use any editing programs, but they take you good to great. I use a simple one, Google's Picasa.

I do not use any editing programmes because I do not know how. I have discovered that my camera will do simple things like cropping but that's all. I had intended going to college to do a class on digital photography, which included things like photoshop etc. But they withdrew the funding and I couldn't afford the fees. Such is life.I do have a couple of programmes on my pc, such as Corel Painter X and My FinePix Studio, which I have yet to get to grips with. In the meantime I just keep clicking. I will have a look at Picasa. Maybe Ian can show me how some of these things work, hehe.

Picasa is a free download, best value, and simple to operate. Once you master that you can step up to better programs if you desire.
