A little taste of summer. The monkey grass had some pretty blooms. Spring will get here soon.

It's other name is Liriope, I think. My Mother also called it monkey grass though, and planted a row on each side to border the walk to the front door. It was the style then, and I still see it sometimes. I think it helps keep the grass from invading the walk and needing edging.

It spreads like a grass, so you can divide it, and replant to add to the length of the row. I agree, way prettier than the things man makes! :)
