A view from a trail at the Andree Clark Bird Refuge in Santa Barbara. We stopped here on the way home from a trip to Los Angeles because we needed to stretch our legs. We didn't see quite as many birds as I'd hoped, if you don't count ducks. It was still relaxing, and we got the exercise we needed before heading back home.

I'm glad you like it. Have you ever been there? It's a nice walk around, but my husband could only handle about a third of the way, so we had to turn back before finishing the whole trail.

It was. There were a few other people walking the path, but we were far apart from each other on the trail.

My fingers have figured out that my sleeping pill is kicking in and they have gone into slow motion, as has my brain. Time to go to bed.
